tanks, we need to open the manhole(s), or for other tanks, we take a section of the lid off. The tank must be pumped
in order to inspect its components. Baffles in the tank are checked for proper functioning. The baffles keep scum
inside the tank, so that effluent leaving the tank comes from the clear liquid layer.P
Then the leaching system is inspected for distribution, surface water, surfacing effluents, system sizing and
performance.
